Menopause is the big M-word every woman experiences, but no one talks about it. In the realm of women’s health, we’re usually more focused on pregnancy and childbirth.
There’s a societal aversion to talking about menopause, and the physical and emotional changes we go through. This does women a huge disservice. If we don’t talk about menopause enough, it’s hard to find the solutions we need, and celebrate this time in our lives.
What changes can we expect in menopause? How do we accept this new normal, feel more at home in a changing body, and manage the symptoms? How does this phase of our life set the tone for our health as we age?
In this episode, I’m joined by Jill Angelo, the CEO and founder of Gennev, the first-ever online clinic for women in menopause. We talk about this very important subject in women’s health, and how to navigate it with positive discussions.
Jill is the CEO and founder of Gennev whose mission is to empower women to take control of their health. Gennev is the first-ever online clinic for women in menopause and offers telemedicine access to OBGYNs, menopause health coaches, wellness products, and free education.
